CELIO

Celio tells the story of Natania, the mute daughter of a geneticist studying an alien species known as the Tenebrae. When the project is shut down, Natania's mother hides one of the last of the Tenebrae clones, named Celio, that the project created before he could be hunted down. Once she accidentally awakens the clone, Natania finds herself a target of a ruthless military task force determined not to let any loose ends free. Now she and Celio must work together to get Celio's people off of the planet and into safety.

This story has been nominated for Vancouver Film School's award for Excellence In Story.

CHRYSANTHEMUM

Published in "Opposite Of Adults" Amplify Festival Anthology. This short story is about a samurai who had been having doubts about where his life had taken him. He is given the task of killing a samurai who defected from the shogun's army. However, this defector just may have more in common with him than the samurai realizes.
